CEO’s Note – June 13, 2021
June is mental health awareness month and there’s lots of attention on the pressure we all have been living under for the past 14 months.
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound impact on the mental health of people of all ages. We all have coping strategies and I have two favorites: cycling and walking, especially with my wife.
The right sidebar has a link to my Sunday morning ride. A good friend and I have been riding together for more than 14 years. It’s a great way to connect, ease stress, and recharge emotionally. And it’s easy to get started.
Just pull your old bike out of the garage, give it a good cleaning – oil the chain, check the brakes, and take it out for a spin.
If you like company, just reach out to your local bike shop and they will connect you with a local cycling club.
If you’re a vet, join the Vets Riding For Vets group on Strava.com – Vets Riding for Vets on Strava.
Have a great ride and stop back by and tell us your story.
