1. The Mission Continues

The Mission Continues empowers veterans to continue their service, and empowers communities with veteran talent, skills and preparedness to generate visible impact. Their mission is to help connect veterans to under-resourced communities, by deploying veteran volunteers alongside nonprofit partners and community leaders to improve educational resources, increase access to parks and green spaces, foster neighborhood identity, and more.

2. Team Red, White, and Blue

Team Red, White, and Blue’s mission is to enrich the lives of America’s veterans by connecting them to their community through physical and social activity. They insist that all veterans have the opportunity to reclaim what was most precious about their military service: an unwavering sense of belonging born of challenges that show us what each of us is capable of.

3. Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA)

Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) fights for and empowers over 400,000 veterans allies nationwide. They have connected more than 1.2 million veterans with resources and community and provided thousands of veterans of all generations with life-saving and life-changing personalized support from IAVA’s peer-support case managers. IAVA provides community-building opportunities, one-on-one support, advocacy, career programs, mental health programs, and more.

4. Student Veterans of America

Student Veterans of America (SVA) provides a dedicated network of more than 1,500 on-campus chapters in all 50 states and 4 countries representing more than 750,000 student veterans. They inspire veterans by connecting student veterans with a community of like-minded chapter leaders. These passionate leaders work to provide the resources, network support, and advocacy to ensure student veterans can effectively connect, expand their skills, and ultimately achieve their greatest potential.

5. American Legions

American Legions is America’s largest veterans service organization. The American Legion is committed to sponsorship of wholesome programs in local communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow service-members and veterans.
