May – It’s Military Appreciation Month and the Traditional Graduation Month
Congress designated May as National Military Appreciation Month in 1999 to ensure the nation was given the chance to publicly show its appreciation for troops past and present.
In 2023, Memorial Day falls on Monday, May 29th. On Memorial Day, we pause to remember the sacrifice and service of those who gave all. In addition, May is the month we honor military spouses – Military Spouse Appreciation Day and all of our military services – Armed Forces Day.
