The Tour de France Inspires Me – every year!

I’ve been watching the Tour de France since 1992 when I began my amateur cycling adventure.  Over the years I’ve participated in road racing, mountain biking, cyclocross, and track cycling.  And every year I watch the one-day classics and the other major European races but the Tour de France has always captured my fascination.  Just watching the riders day after day helps keep me riding.  They never quit and that resonates with me.

And, as many of you know, bicycling has been a key element of my cancer survivorship plan and dealing with my PTSD.  I’ve ridden 38,368.95 miles since I began tracking my mileage in 2003.  And every mile helped in stress relief.

Take a look at the Youtube channels below that recap every day of the Tour.

If you use Strava, pop over and join our Vets Riding for Vets group.  Let’s get vets riding and help reduce veteran PTSD symptoms.

Hope to see you in the group and on the road.

Allez-y!
