Happy 250th United States Army
Today, June 14th, 2025, marked the 250th birthday of the United States Army, and I had the opportunity to visit the National Museum of the United States Army at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia.
Serving in the Army and leading soldiers in combat was one of the greatest privileges of my life. I am profoundly grateful for the opportunity to have played a part in safeguarding democracy around the globe.
Congratulations and ‘thank you’ to all who have worn the Army uniform. Those who served before us, those serving today, and the future soldiers who will step forward. Your service and sacrifice exemplify the true meaning of duty, honor, and country.
On June 16th, I’ll begin a six-day journey from Washington, DC, to Los Angeles, departing from the National Museum of the United States Army, honoring the beginning of our road to independence and the 250th birthdays of the United States Army, Navy, and Marine Corps.
Thank you to the U.S. Army for 250 remarkable years of dedication and service to our nation. I am proud and deeply honored to be part of this enduring legacy.
