DESCRIPTION:The 2023 DVEN/Rally4Vets Top Dog Championships Scheduled for 1 October 2023\nThe Top Dog Championships is an annual amateur motorsports event leading to the award of the annual Top Dog Championship Trophy to the military service collecting the most points during the competition year and Top Dog Awards to car class winners. \nThe event raises funds to provide free service dogs to disabled veterans.  The event is open to all drivers – novice and experienced.  No racecar or race license is needed. \nThe championship event is back at Summit Point Motorsports Park\, WV\, on 1 October 2023. \nRegistration opens on April 4\, 2023\, on the TrackRabbit platform at the following link: 2023 DVEN/Rally4Vets Top Dog Championships

SUMMARY:2022 Top Dog Trackcross Challenge
DESCRIPTION:The DVEN/Rally4Vets Top Dog Championship . . . \n. . . offers the opportunity for the motorsports enthusiast community to help reduce veteran suicides by raising the awareness level about veteran suicide and resources available to veterans dealing with PTSD.  The program supports the mission of the Disabled Veteran Empowerment Network – DVEN.org. \n\n\nThe Top Dog Championship Format\nThe format is a TrackCross/Track Sprint with one car on the track at a time.  This allows experienced drivers and novices to compete on an equal footing for Top Dog honors and for points toward the overall Top Dog Championship Trophy.  Compete with your daily driver.  Spoiler – Army won in 2021! \n \nThis is a Service Team Event!\nThe Department of Defense conducts inter-Service sports competitions in 23 sports\, from archery to wrestling\, but not in motorsports.  The DVEN/Rally4Vets Top Dog Championship event lets veterans\, active-duty personnel\, family members\, and just friends of a Service to come together in a friendly\, low-risk environment to compete for bragging rights [Army-Navy football\, right?] and to have their Service inscribed on the DVEN Top Dog Trophy. \n\nWho Can Participate?\nThe Top Dog Championship is open to veterans of all services\, including the National Guard and Reserves; active-duty personnel; family members; and enthusiasts who want to support the military/veteran community. \nHow Many Drivers?\nWe have just 80 driving slots so register today!
